Training and Orientation

Teachers Council’s professional education staff prepares you for the position you will begin once arriving in the US. TC schedules orientation seminars in your country to better acquaint you with the rules and regulations of your school and state and to help you better understand the US student and classroom. You will participate in a fun interactive workshop where you will have instruction on educational philosophy, behavior and classroom management and innovative teaching methods including an extensive introduction to the latest research on “Brain Based Learning” techniques and how to plan your lessons according to this creative approach. However, once you have arrived in the US you are never alone. TC will assist you to find acceptable living accommodations, the necessary legal documents, advise for transportation and shopping, and additional training support teaching in your new classroom. Teachers are encouraged to become fully certified as soon as possible in their subject area. Teachers Council provides at no additional cost to the teacher an online training program for the PRAXIS 1 examination. Teachers may then prepare to take the PRAXIS 2 examination in their subject areas.

Teachers with their personal password into our website are always provided ongoing professional support for their subject areas and personal situations.

TC representatives can be contacted at anytime to assure you never feel alone. Our teachers can always depend on us!
