Korea Winter Camp 2007 Program Details

Teachers Council cooperates with major national education and training companies in Korea to provide English teachers as part of an educational cultural exchange program. This is a very exciting educational program called the ‘Winter Camp’ and is designed for children that are enrolled in elementary and middle school and between the ages of 10-15. To further the educational of the children, a special English educational program presented by highly qualified teachers from the US, will enhance the general knowledge, English skills and social and cultural values of the children.

Teachers will present classes in both formal and informal classroom settings and include many educational activities for these young, eager students at university campuses and other training centers. The children are highly motivated and most respectful of their teachers. Most of the children have studied English for 3-8 years prior to this teaching program.

American teachers will benefit by observing and participating in Korean education. They will learn about the student work ethic, respect for teachers, curriculum and focus that is exhibited in the Korean education.

In addition to American teachers participating in educational programs in Korea, the exchange programs of Teachers Council also arranges placement and visas for international teachers to come to the US and teach in American school classrooms. While in Korea, American administrators will be able to meet and interview potential teachers for their school districts.
